One Nation Under Man?

I wrote in a previous post that as we continue to watch the Understanding The Times series, I will be posting about what we are learning.  So far we have watched the first DVD (of 4) on Secular Humanism.  Before we move on to the next DVD on Marxist-Leninism, we decided to pull out a DVD by Brannon Howse titled, One Nation Under Man?: Understanding the Worldview War Between Christians and the Secular Left, and the Consequences of Secular Humanism on America.  The title probably makes it obvious, but we decided to watch this because it directly relates to the worldview we have been studying, and it was powerful.  It helped us see down to the core what is happening to our country, and caused us to feel righteous anger over it.  The message is one of truth we as Christians need to learn and remember, because it helps empower us to live as God's people in this increasingly godless nation. 

I'm not sure how to summarize this message... there are so many important topics.  It's a lot to take in.  Just some of the things he spoke on were: modern-day liberalism and the lie of separation of church and state, the judicial tyranny that secular humanism has brought on and how evolution has affected our judicial system, and why humanism is a lie and Christianity is the truth.

If you are local and friends of ours, you are welcome to borrow and watch the DVD.  It would be well worth your time!  Brannon also wrote a book on which this message was based.

Next is the Marxist-Leninism DVD, but only after we've had a little time to absorb all we took in last night.  :)  Good stuff!!!
